Do you support someone with mental health needs? Are you interested in connecting with other carers and learning new skills? You are invited to join our Carer Coach Sue Hopkins for a series of 9 online workshops designed to assist carers. The workshops will: Assist you to build practical skills for navigating the caring role Support you to learn strategies to for your own wellbeing Connect you with other carers who “get it” Provide access local support options and resources Offer tools and insights to help lighten the load and strengthen your confidence Each week a different topic will be covered including: Understanding the Carer Journey What makes for good support Understanding Inclusion and Advocacy Planning Ahead for Yourself Post Crisis and more…. These supportive workshops will give you time to reflect on your caring role and build strategies to allow you to care more sustainably for the person you support and look after you. Step back in time at Pine Rivers Heritage Museum to explore glamorous evening wear from the 1920s to the 1980s.You're invited to a day out of fashion from yesteryear.Experience the fashion, styles, and stories behind special occasion outfits from the City of Moreton Bay’s Heritage Collection.You will experience a guided tour, interactive fashion installation and light refreshments.Come join us - relax and connect. Enjoy the fashion journey on display and perhaps have a reminisce about your own fashion styles. We hope we can do a little cloths swap so bring a piece of fashion ( scarf, top, beads etc) and swap.
