This workshop involves sharing stories, tips and tricks and exploring situations together to support ourselves and others through this time. Understanding the NDIS (Online)
Discover how the NDIS could support the person you care for and how to apply, in a practical workshop for mental health carers. A 2–hour, free workshop for mental health carers. Understanding the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can feel overwhelming but you don’t have to figure it out alone. The NDIS, run by the government, provides funding to help eligible people with disability to access support, including people with mental ill-health. You’ll walk away with: a better understanding of how the NDIS works what makes a strong application and who’s eligible simple steps to get started what NDIS can (and can’t) fund where to go for help when you need it. Out and About with Arafmi – Brisbane Portrait Prize Exhibition
Join us for a morning of art and coffee when we visit the QLD State LibraryCome and meet up with other Arafmi carers as we explore the Brisbane Portrait Prize Exhibition together at the State Library.
