This session is designed to assist people who care for a friend or family member with mental health needs to understand and prepare for the NDIS planning meeting with the NDIS planner.
Borderline Personality Disorder Family Connections - 12 Week Program is a free, 12-week course that meets weekly for two hours to provide education, skills training, and support for people who are in a relationship with someone who has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

Our Chermside Carer Support Group offers a supportive environment where people have the opportunity to talk about their experiences, help explore alternative ways of coping, offer support to other group members, or to simply listen and observe. Caring for a spouse or partner with a mental health illness is a different experience to caring for an adult child or other family member or friend. This support group has been created in response to feedback our carers and will be an online space where carers can connect and support each other.

The aim of this study is to work with family, friends, carers, and supporters of people with mental health challenges, mental illness or psychological distress to understand their experiences especially in relation to the impact of COVID-19 on their caring responsibilities, unmet needs and levels of distress.
