Understanding the NDIS (Online)
A 2–hour, free workshop for mental health carers.
Understanding the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can feel overwhelming but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
The NDIS, run by the government, provides funding to help eligible people with disability to access support, including people with mental ill-health.
You’ll walk away with:
- a better understanding of how the NDIS works
- what makes a strong application and who’s eligible
- simple steps to get started
- what NDIS can (and can’t) fund
- where to go for help when you need it.
Join us to learn whether the NDIS could benefit the person you care for and how to navigate it with confidence.
This session is designed specifically for family members, kin, young carers, friends and other individuals who support someone experiencing mental ill-health. We are a Queensland-based service.
