Learn tips to make conversations easier and strengthen your relationship.A 2–hour, free workshop for mental health carers.Ever find it hard to connect with the person you care for? Knowing what to say—or how to say it—can feel difficult at times. This workshop will give you simple, effective tools to improve communication and build a stronger relationship.You’ll learn about the L.E.A.P. method—Listen, Empathise, Agree, Partner—to help you connect in a positive way to reduce conflict. Future Planning Workshop for Mental Health Carers
Join us for our third session in the Future Planning workshop series in February focused on housing.Join us at this face to face workshop to hear from a panel of experts as they share practical information about the services available to support people experiencing mental ill health, to find and maintain safe, stable housing. Our speakers will break down what help is out there, how to access it, and what to expect from the different supports available.You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the Housing Older Women’s Support Service, a dedicated program that helps women over 50 and First Nations women over 45, navigate complex housing systems, understand their options, and work towards securing long-term, suitable accommodation. This session is a chance to gain confidence, ask questions, and connect with others facing similar challenges.Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided.The venue is fully accessible. Onsite parking is free, on a first in first served basis.
