Join us for a coffee catch-up each Thursday at The Coffee Club in West End. One of our awesome carer support team members will be available from 8am – 10am at a dedicated Arafmi table in the cafe where you can drop in, have a chat and catch up with us and other carers. Connecting with Community Support workshop provides carers with an opportunity to increase their awareness of how people communicate and what skills are needed at different times with the person you care for. A range of communication strategies will be explored to build carers confidence and skills and assist them to improve relationships now and in the future.

Our Redcliffe Carer Support Group offers a supportive environment where people have the opportunity to talk about their feelings, help explore alternative ways of coping, offer support to other group members, or to simply listen and observe. Support groups are also a valuable means of informing carers of Arafmi services and resources that are available to assist their caring role.
