Arafmi’s 1-day Sunshine Coast Carer Retreat will take place on Tuesday 27 May 2025 and will run from 9am – 4pm. The retreat will be held at the Glass House Mountains.

During the day, you’ll have the option to participate in all the activities listed below, or you can choose to spend some time alone with a member of the carer support team, or simply relax in the grounds, read, and explore.

At the retreat you will have the opportunity to:

• Take part in painting workshop.
• Enjoy mindfulness activities
• Take a walk through the rainforest
• Lunch in the train carriage
• Meet and chat with members of the Arafmi Carer Carer Support Team
• Meet and chat with other carers

* Please note that an EOI does not mean you have a ticket to the day retreat. There are a limited amount of spots available and all EOI will be assessed for suitability. Priority will be given to carers who haven’t recently accessed Arafmi respite or retreats.
