Arafmi Morning Book Club - This month we will be reading The Rosie Project, Graeme Simsion
Financial Info for Carers session is designed specifically for people who care for a friend or family member with mental health needs.
Our Support Groups offer a supportive environment where people have the opportunity to talk about their feelings, help explore alternative ways of coping, offer support to other group members, or to simply listen and observe. Support groups are also a valuable means of informing carers of Arafmi services and resources that are available to assist their caring role.
You are invited to the annual Arafmi Mental Health Carer Forum. The theme of this year’s conference is 45 Years of Arafmi.

Join us for a coffee catch-up each Thursday at The Coffee Club in West End. One of our awesome carer support team members will be available from 8am – 10am at a dedicated Arafmi table in the cafe where you can drop in, have a chat and catch up with us and other carers. Connecting with Community Support workshop provides carers with an opportunity to increase their awareness of how people communicate and what skills are needed. A range of communication strategies will be explored to build carers confidence and skills and assist them to improve relationships now and in the future.
Caring for a loved one with a Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) can bring with it some unique challenges. This support group has been created specifically to support the carers of those with a BPD and is a result of recent feedback from our carers.
