The Communication Skills Workshop provides mental health carers with an opportunity to increase their awareness of how people communicate and what skills are needed at different times. It also discusses what skills are needed with different relationships eg with the person you care for, other family members, clinicians.
A range of communication strategies will be explored to build carer’s confidence and skills which will assist them to improve relationships now and in the future.
