Discussion group took on the formal name – Association of Relatives and Friends of the Mentally III, calling themselves Arafmi.
Arafmi established its first craft stalls and commenced fundraising.
Arafmi’s Logo is a picture of Coolibah tree (The flooded Box tree), accompanied by the words, “You are not alone”.
